The Memphis Area Association of Realtors has released its Memphis Area Home Sales Report – November 2011. Headlines were made this month as November unit sales rose 28.4% above November 2011. However, year to date unit sales lag 2010 numbers by 8.3%. The decreases in November and YTD median and average sales prices is troubling as we see values continuing to erode. New home sales were flat, foreclosures increased, and listing inventory shrunk. Area detail reports will show yout stats in your areas of interest at a more micro level.
