That $8000 tax credit for first-time home buyers is expiring

Far be it from me to ever be an annoying sales person type, but I kind of feel like Billy Mays as I write this post.

This is the last time I am going to mention the $8000 Federal Tax Credit for first-time home buyers ($6500 if you have owned a home before).Â The offer ends April 30, 2010 – you have to find a home and get it under contract by that date to qualify for the credit.Â Certain restrictions apply. Consult your real estate professional.Â If you qualify, you have a little more than a month to find a property and get it under contract.

The Feds have already let it be known thatÂ THIS OFFER WILL NOT BE REPEATED.

Finally I will be able to remove that annoying countdown clock widget from my sidebar.

Joe knows Midtown! We loved working with him from the start--he's truly a professional but breaks everything down for you. While preparing our house for the market, he was patient with us and worked out a strategy for us. Once we left town, he took care of everything--it was complete piece of mind. The result? Not only the easiest real estate transaction we've ever had, but also the quickest! The house sold for more that we thought it could in a flash.
