I have posted about Walk Score previously. The Walk Score Site has posted its list of most walkable cities. Of course , cities like San Francisco, New York, and Boston immediately come to mind, so it was a bit of a shock to see Memphis rated #35 among the large cities surveyed. Our ranking was based on the walkability of Downtown, Midtown, and (?) East Memphis-Colonial Acres-Yorkshire.

It’s not the 35th most walkable. Of the 40 largest cities surveyed, it came in 35th.
Too bad it’s so hot right now. I’m sweating by the time I walk from my air conditioned car to my air conditioned house.
Several Memphis financial advisory firms have been listed this month in performance surveys published in industry trade magazines Wealth Manager and Financial Advisor. The published findings from the Wealth Manager survey this year ranked 439 firms based on the dollar size of the average client portfolio.
