This is not a real estate post; it’s more on the topic of good manners and customer service. I find that more and more company automated answering services are asking me to leave messages, which, I guess is basically OK. I use VM myself.
It is the ever -increasing use of the ending tag, “we will get back to you at our earliest convenience,” that is beginning to irk me. Think about that phrase. I am sure someone thinks that sounds great but it says to me that my call is not important enough for an “as soon as possible” response; it is only important enough for them to call back when it is convenient for them. The modifier, earliest, has no significance whatsoever.
If you are in a business where every customer contact counts, it pays to pay attention to the little things you say and do. Someone is paying attention.
