For those who would like an alternative to taking the gas guzzler everywhere, A Seattle Comapny Walkscore.com has come up with a neat little mash up widget. Memphis, with the exception of Downtown, and neighborhoods like Cooper-Young, is not very walker friendly, so this will give you an idea of how how can leave the car behind and get fit in the process. Just put in your address, or your dream home address, and see how “walkable” it is. I am testing the widget on my site if you would like to have a look.
As soon as I get another license, I will post it permanently on this blog.
