Mud Island is a peninsula separating the Downtown Memphis Harbor from the Mississippi River. The southern end of the Island is Mud Island Park, with the remainder of the land as residences, consisting of single family homes, condos and apartments. Other than an apartment complex, the first major development on Mud Island was Harbortown, a Planned Unit Development, featuring homes, condos, apartments, commercial enterprises, grocery store school, hotel, restaurants, and more. Harbortown has the feel of a self-contained community. Other developments, including some appartment complexes stretch to the north end of the peninsula. The Island is a popular Downtown residential destination, with prices ranging from the mid $100Ks up to $1M+. See a video tour below.
